FIREGUARD TANKS ®

Fireguard is the superior tank for both safety and durability.  Designed with a double wall and insulating material between the two walls, it provides fire protection for flammable and combustible liquids (including fuel).  Lancaster Tanks Fireguard Tanks are available up to 60,000 gallons.

 

Fireguard double-wall tanks are built to UL-142 specifications and listed under UL-2085 for "Insulated Secondary Containment". Fireguard tanks are “Protected Fire Resistant" tanks that are also impact and ballistic resistant. They are the “gold standard” for storage of flammable liquids. Available in cylindrical and rectangular shapes and both vertical and horizontal designs, Fireguard Tanks are 75% lighter than their concrete competitors through the use of a unique state of the art thermal insulation. Every Fireguard tank provides 110% secondary containment. 

 

We can construct Fireguard Tanks with interior bulkheads to allow for multiple compartments.  Additionally we can provide these tanks  with integral spill chambers which are required in many jurisdictions for tanks with volumes in excess of 10,000 gallons.  Ladders, stairs, platforms, and catwalks can be provided upon request.
